You Do You is a fantasy football league of 10 teams, each run by one friend. Every week each team starts a lineup of real NFL players and scores whatever those players do on the field. Two teams are paired each week; the higher score wins. This site exists so people who are not in the league can follow the arguments anyway.

How to read the site

The feed is the storylines: the things that happened in the last finished week, found by the numbers, not by opinion. Scores shows every matchup of any week, live while games are on. Standings+ is the table plus the truth behind it: who is winning, who deserves to be, and who left the most points sitting on the bench.

Glossary

PPR
Point per reception. Every catch is worth one point on top of the yards and touchdowns. This league is full PPR.
Starters and bench
Each team owns about fifteen players and starts ten. The rest sit on the bench and score nothing for the team that week.
FLEX
A lineup slot that can hold a running back, a wide receiver, or a tight end. The two FLEX slots are where lineup decisions get interesting.
Waiver
A claim on an unowned player that is processed once a week, in the small hours of Wednesday. When two teams want the same player, the one with the better waiver position gets him.
Free agent
An unowned player picked up immediately, no waiting. The ticker at the top of every page shows these moves as they happen.
Trade
Two teams swap players. Rare in this league, and worth a story when it happens.
Bench points
Points scored by players who were sitting out. A big number means the right players were on the roster and the wrong ones were in the lineup.
All-play
A team's record if it had played every other team that week instead of just one. It separates good from lucky.
Luck
Real wins minus the wins the all-play record says a team deserved. It evens out over a season, which is the most annoying true thing in this sport.
Playoffs
After the regular season the top teams play a bracket over the last weeks of the year. Seeds come from wins, then points scored.

Who is who

Teams appear by team name only, as the commissioner has chosen to show them. No usernames, no profile pictures, no links to anyone's account, and nothing on this site can be used to work out who a person is.

Where the numbers come from

The league runs on Sleeper. This site reads the league's public data every few minutes on game days and once a day otherwise, and computes everything you see here from it. Finished weeks are final; the current week updates while games are on.
